Sumi-e ink, colored ink
Sometimes, I sit down to mess around a bit and accidently produce something I genuinely like. Frankly, this one should probably go in the section for my official, complete works, but as I've mentioned before, I reserve the right to be somewhat nonsensical in my choices when it comes to what goes where.
This employs a technique where the shadows were painted first in black and white (that's the sumi-e), then layered over in colored inks. I really like the look when it works, but it's painfully easy to mess up. As much as I like this dragon-toad guy, I'm forced to admit there are sections of him are just too dark.
